See a neurologist: Pain sensitive structures include the median nerve itself. A good exam and nerve conduction study are probably indicated. CRP and RSD are uncommon. CTS is common. Exclude this first with the NCV. Hold off on more aggressive therapy until you know exactly what the problem is. Denervation hypersensitivity is difficult to treat (following ganglion block procedure) CTS is easy to treat.
