Possibilities: first, the nausea and intraoral bad taste may or may not be causatively related. Bad taste is usually related to chronic periodontal disease, a gram negative anaerobic rod bacterial infection, or reflux. Carbohydrates can literally feed into this disease, drink water. Nausea can be from dizziness, migraine, fainting, GI upset, food poisoning, viral or ear infection, pregnancy, motion sickness
