1 egg or 2 eggs: Fertilization of 2 separate eggs by 2 different sperm (non identical twins) or fertilization on 1 egg which subsequently splits to form 2 identical portions (identical twins) with each portion developing into a baby.

IVF, fertiliity drug: Both fertility drugs and in vitro fertilization increase the incidence of twinning. But this is not a desired effect. Ideally, babies should come one at a time, for the benefit of both the mothers and the babies.
