Ramipril - how to avoid or lessen dry cough???

Changing...: If the cough is mild you may try cough meds although these are not good to take for a long period of time. If cough is severe and persistent(which is usually the case) the only way is changing to an alternative medication. You would have to discuss with your doctor in order to have another type of medication prescribed but please don't make any changes until you consult with him/her.
