No: I do not think so because you only need 2 doses -take the second dose 12 hours affer the first dose afer unprotected intercourse within 72 hours as emergency contraception. It may cause some nausea insome pt but no wt gain.

Fluid retention: An emergency contraceptive could cause temporary fluid retention. Any weight gained from fluid would dissipate as soon as the fluid is diuresed.

See below: Agree with Dr. Fowler. If you do not wish to be pregnant, use contraception all the time, every time. You may consider implanted contraceptive, or IUD. Practice safe sex, if you have sex. Get HPV vaccine, if you are younger than 45 years.
