Itch: Given the data presented, it would be reasonable to see if the tincture of time would allow the symptoms to disappear - particularly if the area is allowed to say cool, dry, and reasonably exposed to air. If it does not resolve, then evaluation is warranted to verify that there is no infectious process occurring such as a fungal infection.
