A member asked:

What does diffuse fatty infiltration of the liver mean?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Obesity: The most common cause of fat in the liver is due to obesity. If you lose weight the fat in the liver will resolve too. It can also be caused by high cholesterol, high triglycerides or heavy alcohol use. "Diffuse infiltration" just means that they see fat deposits distributed evenly throughout the liver.
