Yes: It's possible to start menopause at age 26. However, this is not normal and it's called premature ovarian insufficiency (failure) ie the cessation of ovarian function prior to age 40. Tests should be done to search for a reason and to evaluate for autoimmune adrenal insufficiency which can be fatal.
