Is it IN blade or: UNDER? Symptoms could be the result of something sinister such as lung/heart problems & should be investigated by your dr, esp. If accompanied by diff breathing, nausea or sweating.Most often, though, vertebral or rib problems cause a similar pain & can range from aching to sharp.A good history & phys is the only way to determine cause for certain.Osteopathic hands-on exam & manipulation may help.
