No effect: If you are faithful on daily dosing of your birth control and vary only by 4-6 hours you should have no concerns. Please remember that birth control is not 100 percent and if you absolutely want to keep from getting pregnant consider using condoms as well. Good luck.

Not at all: If you're off by just hours, the efficacy of the pills will not be affected at all. It's not until you start missing pills that the effectiveness drops. It's still always a good idea to use a condom to prevent infections if you're not both in monogamous relationships.
