Usually: Prevacid (lansoprazole) helps with acid reflux. If use of proton pump inhibitors, GERD precautions like Upright 1 hour b/f and after meals, no smoking, minimizing alcohol, avoiding NSAIDS, small frequent meals and HOB elevation do not improve symptoms, alternative diagnosis may be considered.
