Probably Not: Spotting should not effect how effective a yeast medication is. If the symptoms do not improve after treatment, see your doctor to be re-evaluated

Yes.: Spotting should not 'wash out' the medication, ie causes the medication to be expelled before it can effect a cure. However, if bleeding is more than spotting you should wait until the bleeding subsides or use an oral treatment such as the single dose Diflucan (fluconazole) tablet.
