Yes: It is very common for the hymen of active young women to be torn well before the onset of sexual activity and fingering or tampon use can result in a broken hymen. You may or may not notice spotting, bleeding, or pain when this happens. Hope this helps

Usually, only in cases of alleged sexual assault upon girls and women do we physicians engage in the careful examination of hymens, collecting evidence of physical damage to be used later in courts of law. In normal everyday life, people should not be "checking hymens" nor thinking about whether they are broken or not broken.

Not all have one: Hymens are not the same in all females. They can be anywhere from large and thick to tiny and thin. Tiny thin ones may not be affected at all by a virgin's first intercourse. This has been a problem for such women through history in cultures that insist on PROOF of female chastity. Hopefully, you behave so that you can trust a woman whom you love. Squirting is not a controlled event either. Trust!
