When i turn my head there is a pop noise where my head meets my neck. i have been having headaches coming from this area too. what is causing? fix?

Muscle contraction: The posterior neck muscle often tighten an cause muscular tension headache. The noise you hear are muscle and air popping sounds.Simple passice stretching, slowly ( north, south, east ,west, clockwise and counter clockwise) with slow deep breathing almost aleays works- see?- no pills needed.
