Tooth pain: Call your dentist. There area number of things that can cause pain after a filling. It may be as simple as a bite adjustment, or more complicated than this. The only way to know for sure is be calling your dentist and getting this checked.

Not uncommon: The most common reason for pain right after the anesthetic wears off is that the filling is too high. Call your dentist to adjust the height of the filling.
