SERIOUS: without an exam, I can only give general information AND generally pain and paralysis from a neck related thing is INCREDIBLY serious and can imply risk for QUADRAPLEGIA (paralysis from the neck down) and could be unstable at this very minute. Can be an indication for emergency neck x-ray series to see if neck is broken. (arthritis, thin bones often does this).
