Hand surgeon: Jammed fingers can be simple sprains or devastating injuries. Although treatment is usually buddy tapping and early motion, surgery might be required. Even the most innocuous looking finger can be injured bad enough to cause permanent impairment. The diagnosis can only be made by a comprehensive examination and x-ray review.
