HIV: You had exposure to a HIV through oral mucosa. I would recommend consulting your doctor as soon as possible to begin testing and possible prophylactic antiviral treatment. In the meantime, refrain from unprotected intercourse and exposure of other individuals.

NO!: Saliva has not been shown to spread HIV infection/ I don't believe this is a problem....always check these answers with your Primary Care Provider since your fears about HIV should be dealt with! Hope this helps Dr Z
