Complicated: This tca antidepressant can also treat pain & enuresis. May work by increasing norepinephrine & serotonin. It is also antihistaminic. Common side effects (se's) include dry mouth, sedation, constipation, blurry vision & increased appetite. May increase suicidal ideation in a few patients. Should be monitored by md if there is a history of heart problems or suicidal behaviors.
