My 4 week old baby passes gas very frequently . he seems to be in pain as he does so. goes red in the face and has a distended belly. what do i do?

Baby gas: Very common for babies to pass gas, but if he seems to be in a lot of pain, then he should be checked out by his doctor. He can potentially be allergic to the breastmilk/formula, he might be constipated or if he doesn't burp well then that might exacerbate these symptoms. You can try infant gas drops to see if it helps.
