What is the risk of having a vasovagal reaction during pregnancy and birth? how can one mitigate the risks?

Dr. Jesus Yap answered

Probably more: Vaso vagal syncope is usually triggered by a drop in BP due to reduce venous return. Thus it can occur with prolonged standing which during pregnancy can be worse because of the growing uterus, During birth there is sudden loss of fluid. Prevention include avoiding standing for long periods and hydration
