Diction: Ectopics can arise from the atria and the ventricles, the site of origin and mechanism lead to differences in symptoms, prognosis, treatment etc. From your submitted quote I suspect either a dictation or transcription error.and the reporting physician likely would appreciate having this pointed out for correction.

I have had stress echo, ecgs & 48 hour monitor. Cardiologist says benign atrial ectopics. Recently been having long periods of 10 to 15 ectopics per min. Went to hospital but they said benign ectopics don't worry. Feels very uncomfortable thoughts?
