Prob due to the work: Dental work causes trauma to the area....But just to be sure call your dentist's "after hours" number and talk to them..They will know exactly what was done and be able to guide you...Unlikely but could be an infection....Don't be hesitant to call eventhough it is sunday.

Truama possible: It could be swelling of the injection site from trauma or could be edema or bleeding in the tissue layers. Call your dentist for screening and possible follow-up.
