Several Ways: First, if you haven't already, take a pregnancy test to be sure you aren't pregnant now. Second, if you are going to have intercourse, and do not want to get pregnant, consider using a couple forms of birth control, such as Norplant (levonorgestrel) or and IUD plus a condom. Two forms of birth control are far more effective than one in preventing pregnancy. Hope this helps!
