Naprosyn (naproxen): There are many over the counter drugs that may help. Midol is a medication that is touted for menstrual pain. In my experience I have found that the NSAID's like Advil (ibuprofen) and Naproysn are much better. If you are not allergic to the meds, a trial of 500mg of Naproysn every 8 hours, a warm bath and light foods should help. If the pain remains intolerable please get a medical consult. Good luck.
