Is there anything i can do to keep from gagging during a strep test?

Gag Reflex: No. The gag reflex is very strong in some people. It can be controlled somewhat be spraying anesthetics in the throat but that interferes with the test. So, you just need to open wide and the lab tech has to be quick. Sorry, it bothers me too!
