Well that depends.: If you no longer desire to have children, or if you are unable to become pregnant due to your medical condition, hysterectomy, or removal of the uterus is the definitive treatment. You would be best served by visiting with your gynecologist and having a discussion about your problem, and where to go from here. You do not have to have your ovaries removed at the same time.
