Yes, from pregnancy: If you are taking the birth control pills for 2 weeks then you should be protected from pregnancy. However, transmission of any STDs are not decreased since the condom broke.

Should be ok: Combined oral contraception like Loestrin if started within 5 days of the start of your period works almost immediately. If started after that then it's effective after about seven days. Assuming you've been taking your birth control religiously you have less than 1% chance, if you haven't been great you have about a 9% chance. If you are that worried talk with your doctor about plan B.
