Inflammation: It would help to know how long this has been going on, but I can give you some generalities. The scope itself can cause irritation or very minor injury; the lubricant may be something your skin is sensitive to; you may have some hemorrhoids that the scope caused to "act up." Generally, doctors schedule a follow up to discuss the results. I recommend you bring this up at that time.
