Pregnancy test: Since your period is late a pregnancy test is a good idea but you need to be seen as soon as possible since you could have a urinary tract infection or a tubal pregnancy. Go to your doctor, an urgent care clinic or an emergency room ASAP.

Urgent care: I would take a home pregnancy test (if there is the possibility you could be pregnant). If that is negative then go to urgent care so they can examine you, check the urine for infection, etc.

See your doctor: If you are feeling "very faint and sick" you should make an appointment to see your doctor. This is unlikely to have anything to do with your period, but an exam with a more thorough history will help sort that out.
