Shame: We are always feeling shame by one definition . That is we feel hurt and confused when things don't go our way. We want our favorite food in a restaurant and they don't have it what is that feeling? It is shame. The norm in society is not to have body odor so it's normal not to want it ; if we have it we feel shame. It is not bad to feel shame it tells us something is wrong, fix the problem.

Shame: Shame is caused by many things and is experienced very differently by different people. Sometimes people have done things they probably should feel shame about, while many others have not; they only think they should feel ashamed because an authority figure has told them to. Everyone feels shame; it's the rule and not the exception. Find a reputable psychotherapist to speak with in a safe place.
