A doctor has provided 1 answer

A 'cold': Upper respiratory infections, are usually caused by viruses and characterized by nasal congestion & discharge, sore throat, sneezing, coughing, fever and headache. These infections usually resolve on their own within a few to several days, but over the counter cold medications can be used if needed for comfort and rest. Prolonged or worsening symptoms should be checked by your doctor.
