Pacemaker: The main restrictions relating to pacemakers relate to the underlying diagnosis which caused the implantation of the pacemaker. The device needs to be followed by trained professionals. The patient needs to avoid magnetic fields and be sure to co operate in the follow up of the device. If you have a pacer, discuss with your doctor and learn about your condition and the device.
