Normal ovulation: Is 15 days after the start of your menstral cycle so you would not have ovulated until 9/13 or so. Then it can take up to 2 weeks for a pregnancy test to turn positive so you are looking around the 27th before you would know something for sure. Given intercourse was on the 7th you may not have conceived. Check again in a week and see if you are positive

25-14=11,: which is the day a woman with a 25 day cycle ovulates. Sperm can survive for up to 4 days. Sex on cycle day 8 could get a woman pregnant when ovulating on day 11. Pregnancy test would be positive as of about day 18 (11+7). The next menses coming on time on the is not a reliable sign of not being pregnant. However, if the pregnancy test at that time is negative, pregnancy is basically ruled out.
