Lidoderm : You may be referring to Lidoderm. This is a patch that contains 5% lidocaine. It is used 12 hours on and 12 hours off. It is for pain on the skin or slightly deeper. There is no narcotic in the patch. Lidocaine is a local anesthetic or numbing medicine.
