A member asked:

How many trinessa (norgestimate and ethinyl estradiol) can i take in place of the morning after pill?

Don't do that: There are no studies that show that a oral contraceptive can be used in place of the morning after pill. If you are concerned and you want to take something then take the morning after pill. It is over the counter and readily available at most pharmacies.

Get Plan B: See linkhttp://ec.princeton.edu/questions/dose.html ( Princeton University) This lists some monophasic OCPs that can be used for emergency contraception, but you must follow the correct dosing for that specific pill brand to be effective. Trinessa (norgestimate and ethinyl estradiol) is a triphasic - which means that each week is a different level of hormones. That style of pill in not included in the list due to that reason.
