Difficult To Say: IBS is caused by many things and not fully understood. As a result, it makes it hard to say if it will go away if it will cure or not. Often IBS is really lactose intolerance which can be fixed by avoiding dairy or bacterial imbalance in the large intestine which can be fixed by taking probiotics. There is also often a stress component so stress management can help.
