Irregular bleeding: Breakthrough bleeding is a term for bleeding at the wrong time in women on birth control. If not on birth control then it is just called irregular bleeding or dysfunctional bleeding. There are many causes but should not be associated with nausea, fever and breast tenderness. Schedule a visit to begin the evaluation of all these symptoms
