Ovarian Cysts: At your age, most ovarian cysts, even larger ones will eventually resolve spontaneously. It may be painful because of where you are in your cycle, as ovulation may stimulate that ovary and aggravate the cyst. I would start with Ibuprofen and a heating pad. However, if the pain is severe you really need to see your doctor to rule out twisting of the ovary.
