Depends: Hi. Diabetes mellitus and diabetes insipidus will both make you urinate more and feel very thirsty. Both can be tested for. I'm not saying it's either of those, but I can't think of many other things that will cause increased thirst and urination. Diabetes mellitus is high blood sugar and acquired diabetes insipidus is lack of a pituitary water-conserving hormone. Talk with your doc. Good luck!
