It's very simple: A person is a virgin before he or she has sexual intercourse for the first time. The person is no longer a virgin the moment after he or she begins to have sex for the first time. For many good reasons, teens should wait (a few years) and not have sex while they are young. For adults, looking at the big picture in the grand scheme of life, being a virgin should not and does not matter at all.
