Painful breasts: painful breasts, or mastodynia, can occur due to various causes. Often people experience tenderness with their periods and which resolves after the menses. Other causes like pregnancy, infection, trauma can also cause similar issues. Warm compresses, tylenol (acetaminophen) may help for symptomatic relief for now.
