Injection or pills: If you only need contraception for a couple of months, you could use Depo Provera (medroxyprogesterone). One injection when you are on your period and pregnancy will be prevented for 3 months. You could also use Birth Control Pills. They should be started while you are on your period before your husband gets home. Then you will be ready. Best Wishes!
