Calendar counting: If your first period was the very beginning of the month and the 2nd period was at the very end of the month then that would be normal for a 26 to 28 day cycle interval. If it wasn't the case, then if this occurs next month as well, then see a GYN MD for evaluation.

Spotting: This is called spotting. It is important to take a pregnancy test if you have irregular bleeding. Other causes are hormonal fluctuations, early menopause, and fibroids.
