My breast are lactating but my pregnancy test was negative wats wrong?

Prolactin: Schedule a visit for a breast exam and to have your blood Prolactin levels checked. Usually things are normal but there is a benign tumor of the pituitary gland called a Prolactinoma that can cause this.

High prolactin: Prolactin causes milk production. Occurs naturally after pregnancy. Can occur outside of pregnancy if that area of the pituitary gland is stimulated. Important to check levels because of possibility of pituitary tumor called an Adenoma.

Possibilities....: There are various reasons that would cause your breasts from producing discharge beside pregnancy: Hormonal imbalances, certain medications, breast stimulation, masses, infection, among others. Make sure you get seen by your doctor in order to make a final diagnosis.
