Not OK: Using someone else's syringe, flushed or not, can expose you to blood borne infections such as hep B, hep C, and HIV. Suggest you see a doctor for testing. Post exposure prophylaxis may be effective if given immediately after the exposure.

Unknown: Important things to know. The needle you shared was it from someone who has known infection. Aids or otherwise. You need to know this then you need to get checked.. This is usually blood work done initially then for follow up over a few months.
