New pill use: When you switch pills it is often less effective the first month of new use. In addition if your physician lowered your estrogen dose, you may experience breakthrough bleeding. If it continues beyond this cycle pack you may want to see your GYN for consultation. In addition, I always recommend a pregnancy test if there is an issue with your pill.
