Is it possible to take medicine for chlamydia but still have it have have taken the meds?

Chlamydia: Yes, it is possible to still have chlamydia after taking all of the prescribed medication. If you have come into contact with Chlamydia again, since the time that you took the medication, you can get it again. This is particularly worrisome if you are sexually active with the same partner that you got it from in the first place. BOTH partners need to be treated before getting back together.

Yes if...: You have sex wirh person(s) who passed it to you. If you are a solo relationship, your partner mst be treated at the same time, or you will play 'ping-pong.' For your info, 25-29% of unmarrieds are infected and can infect others! Long-term issues can occur!
