May need to see GYN: If done correctly, pregnancy tests should be reliable within 12 days after ovulation. Abnormally light periods or absent periods can be from numerous causes, ranging from psychological stress to vigorous, prolonged exercise to a variety of medical problems. If the second cycle is similar or absent, see your gynecologist for an evaluation and, if need be, tests to find the answer.
