Nothing necessarily: It is a bit on the high side. But it depends on what's going on clinically with you, as in, is there some sort of inflammatory process going on. Infections, particularly bacterial, can cause elevated neutrophils. But even acute stress can cause elevated neutrophils. It's entirely possible it's a bit on the high side without anything concerning going on and if rechecked will be normal.

Neutrophil: When we do routine blood work, it gives specific numbers of individual blood cells. Neutrophs are primary defense sysrem. Usual numbers are between 3K - 7K. If it is higher, it most likely means you have bacterial infections or infkammatory condition or physiologic stress or smoking etc.
